Custodian Appreciation Week

FCPS celebrates Custodian Appreciation Week from February 22-26 to focus on the unique contributions that our school custodians make within our school system. Custodian Appreciation Week highlights the impact that custodians have on the daily lives of our students and staff.

Fairfax County Public Schools employs over 1400 school custodians. These vital employees are dedicated to maintaining the physical space, making it clean, safe, and welcoming. In this time of Covid-19, custodians are working every day to make the building safe for students' return to the building.
