Positivity Project at Brookfield: Prudence
Our Positivity Project trait this week is prudence. Being prudent means, you plan for the future and achieve your goals by making careful everyday choices. It is also the ability to do the right thing, at the right time, for the right reason. Prudence supports effective individual self-management. Whether aspiring for an athletic record, academic grade, or purchasing a car, foresight and planning are necessary. Long-term goals – even with a plan – can only be obtained by overcoming those impulses and desires that steer you away from your goals. Our society today, especially in our online world, needs people who are not short-sighted and can see the big picture to become leaders to create the world we want to live in and leave behind for others.
